THIRSK and Malton MP Kevin Hollinrake has said that the Brexit date of March 29 must be pushed back.
Mr Hollinrake has made the remarks in a video on social media this morning, following last night's Commons defeat - once again - of prime minister Theresa May's withdrawal agreement deal.
Mr Hollinrake said: "Where do we go from here?
"Today we've got the option of postponing No Deal from March 29. Everybody in this place thinks there should be a postponement.
"Even the ERG have put down an amendment today to postpone No Deal - I will vote for that."

The ERG - European Research Group - is a group of Eurosceptic MPs within the Conservative party.
Mr Hollinrake said that not postponing would create an "unreasonable burden on businesses."
But he added: "I won't vote to take No Deal off the table in its entirety. I think we need a lengthier discussion with businesses if we're going to approach No Deal."
