MEMBERS of Malton and Norton Fairtrade group are holding a fair on Saturday to mark the end of the annual Fairtrade fortnight.
The event, which will take place at the Friends’ Meeting House, in Greengate, Malton, will showcase both Fairtrade and crafts. A number of craftspeople will also be demonstrating their skills.
It will be open from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free and Fairtrade refreshments will be available.
Janice Gwilliam, from the group, said: “Visitors will be able to see local craftspeople at work, as well as buying from them. A large range of Fairtrade craft items and some Fairtrade chocolate and other snacks will also be available.”
As part of Fairtrade fortnight, the group also has a display of items in the window of Yates in Railway Street, Malton.
