Barry Tuck - Arguments Yard

This picture was taken at the Whitby Goth street event in October. It shows the popular alleyway for people to pose their pretend argument in the aptly named setting.

Mike Ward - Lincoln Busker

This busker was playing in Whitby. I thought he needed a different background, which I change to Lincoln Steep Hill on a misty damp evening.

Julie Cowdy - Chilling in Bordeaux

A hot summer’s day in Bordeaux. Everyone is keeping cool, courtesy of the water jets which spring up at intervals along the street. The cruise liner drawn up on the quayside looks incongruous in the midst of the historic city. I like the casual poses and touches of bright colour offset by the blue/grey of sky and pavement.

Lynn Wraith - San Francisco Demonstrations

On a recent visit to San Francisco I was fascinated by a small demonstration that was taking part in the city centre. There was one on women’s rights to abortions with an anti-abortion demonstration taking place alongside it. Amongst the two demonstrations were a small number making their voice heard on their dissatisfaction with the US President.

Harry Kingman - Washday

This image was taken at the Kosi River in Northern India. It shows two women washing their families clothes in the river.

Joyce Kingman - Congestion in Lisbon

The Portuguese capital of Lisbon is very hilly and has an early twentieth century electric tram system with narrow gauge cars designed to cope with the steep narrow side streets. When the trams stop, the rest of the traffic is blocked.
