A FIRE broke out in an industrial property in West Knapton yesterday (February 19).
Fire crews from Malton, Pickering and the aerial ladder platform from Huntington were called to the fire at about 3.10pm.
The fire was in several parts of a silo, and caused minimal damage to the machinery and no damage to the building, a spokeswoman for North Yorkshire fire service said.
Crews used two breathing apparatus, a hosereel jet and a 45mm hose to put out the fire.
They left the incident at around 10.30pm.
Firefighters have since carried out revisits to check for hotspots.
