A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash in Ryedale.
North Yorkshire Police said officers were called to the collision on the A169 near Pickering shortly before midnight on Sunday.
It involved a Suzuki Swift, the force added.
The road was closed while the car was recovered and the road was cleared.
It reopened at around 2.50am.
The force confirmed that a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and causing danger to road users.
The man has been released under investigation while inquiries continue.
