FIRE services were called to two incidents in villages in Ryedale on Monday.
At 11.23am, a crew from Malton were called to Scrayingham where controlled burning had spread to nearby conifer trees. Crews helped dampen down the area.
Then at 3.18pm, crews from Scarborough were called to a home in Sherburn where an extractor fan had caught fire. Though it was out on arrival, crews had to provide oxygen therapy to a pet dog.
