FREE events for young people, including workshops on how to code, are being put on this half-term at libraries in Ryedale.

The special coding and Minecraft workshop for ages eight upwards, will take place at Malton library, from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Friday, March 1, and at Pickering library, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm the same day.

This workshop is free but places must be pre-booked in advance.

Also at Pickering library on Friday March 1, at 11am, is a free story-time and crafting session (no booking required).

Story-time is geared towards pre-school and the crafting is for any child of primary school age.
