FOR this month's feature, Malton Camera Club is showcasing the work of two of its members who it say have "a large difference in experience".

A spokesman for the club said: "The shots from the Lake District were taken by our youngest member Grace Pashby, who is still in her teens.

"Her shots were taken on a smart phone which shows you don’t need to take a bulky camera and tripod to the top of the mountain to get good shots.

"Keith Goodchild, who has been a member for a number of years has given us two great shots that capture the colour, movement and atmosphere of the fairground and a calmer harbour scene.

"The shot of the waltzer is a longer exposure giving enough time to convey the rapid movement without losing the sense of the subject."

Malton Camera Club meets every other Friday at Norton Methodist Church rooms.
