50 sheep stolen from field
POLICE have put out an appeal asking for information following the theft of 50 sheep from a field in the Howardian Hills.
They said that the theft, which has happened "since January 5", involved 50 sheep being stolen from a field near Scackleton.
The sheep stolen are a mixed Suffolk-Texel cross.
Police said: "If you have any information or have seen any suspicious vehicles capable of carrying 50 sheep please call North Yorkshire Police and quote incident no. 12190010490."
