A POLICE appeal over a toppled fence in Malton has produced a result.
The culprits have admitted it and will now pay for the damage.
Police had issued the appeal for information about the broken fence in Malton on January 4.
Now, police have said: "As a direct result of that appeal we were contacted by a member of the public with information that identified two offenders.
"A 12-year-old and a 13-year-old have been interviewed and admitted the offence and have both been issued with Community Resolution Disposals and are paying for the damage to be rectified."
