TWO drivers are in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries after a crash on the edge of the North York Moors.
Emergency services were called at around 5.45am to the scene on the A19 at Osmotherley, where a tractor and minibus had collided.
A fire spokesperson said that one casualty suffering head, chest and leg injuries was treated by fire service and ambulance crews.
Fire crews used tools to clear a path up an embankment to remove one casualty to a waiting ambulance, before they were transported to hospital via road.
Police tweeted that traffic has remained heavy in the Ellerbeck area throughout the morning due to the complex recovery operation.
