PICKERING Rotary Club will be holding its annual fundraiser at the town’s Spice 4 U restaurant on Sunday, February 3.
It will be in aid of the Scarborough branch of the Samaritans, who also cover Ryedale. The event will feature replica General Lee, a 7.4 litre Dodge Charger, kindly lent by Stephen Mead. One person will be able to win a 30-minute photo shoot and a ride in the General Lee.
Sue Harris, president of Pickering Rotary Club, said: “I am delighted that this year the Samaritans are our chosen charity. They do fantastic work for something that affects all ages, and all sections of our local communities.”
Tickets are £20 available from Spice4U and Hague and Dixons.
