AROUND 100 grandparents came to visit their grandchildren at Amotherby Primary School for a special afternoon of activities.
The grandparents spent time in classes helping with Christmas and winter based art and craft activities. The children made cards, calendars, gift tags and tree decorations.
Headteacher Sue Knowles, said: "I delighted to see so many grandparents supporting the children at school it was a lovely community event."
