RYEDALE restaurant the Black Swan at Oldstead has been named as one of the UK’s top five fine dining establishments.
The accolade, part of the 2018 Travellers’ Choice Restaurants Awards run by TripAdvisor, saw it named fifth best-rated in the UK and also 18th best in the whole of Europe.
Hayley Coleman, TripAdvisor spokesperson, said: “These awards are determined by millions of reviews posted over twelve months from diners who have visited the restaurants.
“To be named among the UK’s top ten demonstrates the incredible work that the team at The Black Swan at Oldstead are putting in.”
Taking the top spot in the UK this year is Nottingham’s restaurant Sat Bains, which also claims fourth place in the world.
The Black Swan at Oldstead is no stranger to awards. Last year it was declared best in the world in the same rankings.
