Drop-in Health Day
A FREE health check and information day is open to all at Kirkbymoorside Library meeting room next Wednesday.
Kirkbymoorside Surgery medical staff will be on hand to offer blood pressure and weight checks, plus advice on giving up smoking and staying healthy.
The is the first event of its kind to be run by the GP practice, in co-ordination with the Ryedale Lions Club, who will provide free tea, coffee and biscuits during the session, which runs from 8.30am to 2pm.
“We all have a role to play in looking after ourselves and we hope this day will encourage healthy choices and improve the lives of many people,” said Lions helper, Roy Foggin.
