A MAN suffered serious injuries after a violent incident outside a pub.
Police were called to an altercation involving men and women outside The Waterhouse pub in St Thomas Street, Scarborough, between 1.45am and 1.55am on Sunday.
The injured man, who is 36 and from Middlesbrough, was taken to York Hospital with fractures to his jaw, cheek bone, eye socket and nose. Two men aged 37 and 30 and a 27-year-old woman, all from Scarborough, were arrested in connection with the incident and then released under investigation while enquiries continue.
