THE company behind the Thames Barrier, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Wembley Arch is appealing for stories and memories of the world-famous engineering firm.
People are being invited to the Transporter Bridge – another of Cleveland Bridge's creations – in Middlesbrough tomorrow from 10.30am to 2.30pm to share their stories of the Darlington engineering firm and its structures.
Dr Warwick hopes to meet and gather valuable material from the public, heritage enthusiasts and educators and said: “Cleveland Bridge and its structures are famous throughout the world and I would appeal for people to come along to the Transporter Bridge this Saturday."
