THE team at Go Ape Dalby were left with sore hands and aching limbs after climbing a monumental 26.2 miles up their zip lines.

Over eight hours and 17 minutes, the team harnessed up to the wires and pulled themselves up them with their hands. Collectively they covered 466 times up the wire, equating to 42,195m.

Duty manager Craig Dowkes said: “A massive congratulations goes to all of the instructors and site manager who took part and a very big thank you to all of you who have donated so far.”

The funds were for the Martin House children’s hospice. To make a donation, go to justgiving.com/goape-dalby
