A VILLAGE has paid tribute to the six men listed on its memorial as part of this weekend's Remembrance commemorations.
Allerston Churches Working Together made six cardboard cut-outs in honour of men listed on the village memorial who died in the Great War.
They are currently on display in St John’s Parish Church, Allerston, from 10am to 3.30pm, until Friday, November 16.
