TWO people in 'Scream'-style masks attempted to rob a 73-year-old fast food delivery man on Halloween night.

It happened on Southend Gardens at approximately 8.50pm on October 31.

The pair approached the victim and demanded his takings before pulling him to the ground.

They then left the scene with nothing.

The first suspect is described as male, approximately 6ft 1in tall and of a slim build. He was wearing dark clothing and wore a ‘Scream’ mask to conceal his face.

The second suspect’s gender is not known but they were around 5 ft 6in tall and of slim build. They were wearing a dark brown fleece with long sleeves and also wore a ‘Scream’ type mask.

The mask is the disguise worn by the character Ghostface in the Scream series of films. The elongated design was inspired by 'The Scream' painting by Edvard Munch.

North Yorkshire Police have issued an appeal to anyone in the area who either saw the pair, can help identify them, or has any other information, to contact them.
