HUNDREDS of Santas will be dashing along Scarborough seafront for a fun run in aid of Saint Catherine’s.
This year’s event will take place on Sunday, December 9, at 11am, and participants can choose between 2k, 5k or 10k to walk, skip or run in your Santa suit. A children’s 2k run has been added to this year’s event and families and friends can join the mini Santas taking part.
Rhiannon Hunt, event organiser, said: “We are very excited to see what this year brings. It promises to be a fantastic day full of festive family fun. It is always such a spectacular sight to see hundreds of Santas running along Scarborough seafront.’’
The Santas will be given free entry to the Sealife Centre after the event, with family and friends being offered half price entry. Adult tickets are £15 and child £5. Tickets include a free Santa Suit.
