FANS turned out to meet their favourite Only Fools and Horses stars last weekend as a little piece of Peckham arrived in Yorkshire.

Malton based TV & Radio Presenter Ryan Swain was invited to interview the cast of the show to celebrate the show’s annual convention, now in it’s 21st year, and the first time ever that it has been to the county

The convention offered fans of the show the opportunity to rub shoulders with stars including John Challis who played Boycie, Sue Holderness who played Marlene and Tessa Peake-Jones who played the role of Del Boy’s significant other Raquel and Gwyneth Strong who played Cassandra at The Mercure Hotel in Hull,

Also on show was hand signed memorabilia, an exhibition of stage sets and props from the TV program and a chance to meet and greet the stars of the showt.

Ryan said: " It was terrific and so lovely to be invited personally to the event to broadcast from it. The fans who I interviewed and spoke to had an incredible time, food and drinks were provided to all the fans whilst they waited to meet the stars, there was lots of activities and prize give-aways taking place where you could win signed merchandise.

It was so lovely to interview all of the cast and get up close and personal to them, they all to told me they loved Hull and had a cushty weekend been in Yorkshire for the first time."
