MALTON and Norton Group of Save the Children recently held a golf tournament involving 60 competitors.
It took place at Malton and Norton Golf Club and raised £1,049, which will help provide aid to children in Syria.
A coffee morning, at the home of Alan and Joan Suggett, raised a further £700.
A spokesman for the group said: “Thank you to all our loyal supporters. We are passionate and proactive in supporting children in jeopardy both in the UK and overseas.”
