PICKERING Musical Society is stepping back in time this week for a nostalgic production of music and comedy.

All Pals Together includes a variety of popular songs and music from the Second World War years.

This is Pickering Musical Society’s 19th annual production to coincide with the town’s Railway in Wartime event.

Luke Arnold, from Pickering Musical Society, said: “If you are in Pickering town over the war weekend spectacular, then why not come along to the Kirk Theatre to see our annual wartime production this year titled All Pals Together and join in with the wonderful nostalgic atmosphere?

“All Pals Together is made up of a variety of popular songs and music from the war years.

“Once again, we will take you on a nostalgic trip through the 1930s and 1940s and we sincerely hope that you will join in with any of the group songs that you know.”

Luke added: “The children may ask you to join in with some of their singing.

“Please give them your full support and help them to raise the rafters. I am sure it will make their night.

“With wonderful songs interspersed with a few short comedy sketches, together with great camaraderie, we hope that you will enjoy our performance of All Pals Together.”

All Pals Together opens today (Wednesday) and runs until Sunday, October 14.

From today (Wednesday) through to Saturday, the show starts at 7.30pm and on Sunday at 6.30pm.
