FORMER British professional road and track racing cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins will be appearing at the York Barbican on Thursday, November 15.
Wiggins has written a number of books about his career – including ‘In Pursuit of Glory’and ‘In My Time’.His latest release ‘Icons’ takes the reader on a journey through the sporting world.
The evening will see Wiggins take to the floor to talk about stories from the latest book, his career and life as well as taking questions from the floor. Cycling fans will also have an opportunity to get up close to some iconic bikes and memorabilia which he’ll be bringing along.Wiggins made his name on the track amassing six world titles and three Olympic gold medals before focusing fully on the road, announcing his retirement from professional cycling at the end of 2016.
