RYEDALE District Council (RDC) is keen to reassure residents that it’s still providing a local ‘lifeline’ service following changes at county level.
Previously known as Ryecare, the 24/7 Malton-based ‘Contact Ryedale’ service fits and maintains lifelines and telecare throughout the district from £5.25 a week.
Contact Ryedale does not provide a visiting service, but wellbeing phone calls are available at a small extra cost.
Cllr Luke Ives said: “This service is very important to RDC as it provides reassurance that help is here at the touch of a button.”
“The lifeline service allows our clients to live independently for as long as possible in their own homes.”
