ORGANISERS of the annual Beertown festival have marked another successful event by donating £2111.61 to Ryedale Special Families (RSF).
The event,, which was held in May was the biggest event yet.
Chris Waplington of Bad Seed Brewery said: “Beertown goes from strength to strength. It’s become a significant event in the UK’s beer festival calendar, but it’s most important to us that it is firmly linked to our community and fantastic local charities like RSF I’d like to extend a huge thank you to all the people who volunteer their help at the event and make it possible for us to make these charitable donations.
Chris added: “Next year’s event will be held from May 16 - 18, when we look forward to welcoming people back - when Malton becomes Beertown again.”
