Batteries stolen from traffic lights in Ryedale
TWO thefts of 'industrial size' batteries from temporary traffic lights took place overnight last night.
The thefts took place from lights in the Terrington and Westow areas.
In an appeal through the community messaging system, police said: "Can I please ask you to report any suspicious sightings of people tampering with temporary traffic lights, especially in rural locations.
"If you do have any information regarding the thefts of the batteries please call 101 and quote incident number 12180171284."
