A BURGLARY at a Ryedale village resulted in the theft of copper wiring and some building equipment.

The burglary happened at an outbuilding in Buttercrambe, around 11.45pm on Wednesday, August 22.

An outbuilding was entered and a 'vibration plate' and copper piping were stolen.

A vibration plate is a piece of building equipment used to break up concrete.

It is believed a silver estate car was used by the suspects.

Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the image.
