Police called to property in Malton
POLICE were called at 7.50am on Sunday by a caller who had concerns for the safety of a man at a property in Castlegate, Malton.
It was reported that the man was distressed, had a knife, and intended to harm himself.
Officers attended the premises and brought the situation to a safe conclusion and the man was taken to hospital.
