A COUPLE who met while working at the same bank have celebrated 60 years of marriage.
Albert Langton, known as Chas, 89, and Marguerite, 86, worked together at Martin’s Bank in London.
They married on August, 30, 1958, at St Barnabas Church, Northolt Park, Middlesex.
Chas worked for Barclays Bank until the age of 60 when he retired and became a bird recorder at Bough Beech Reserviour in Kent.
Due to Marguerite’s ill health they moved to Rivermead care home in Norton, to be near their son, Stephen, who lives at Leavening.
The couple celebrated their diamond wedding anniversary at the home with family and friends.
