A FINALIST on TV's The Voice will be performing in Goathland on Saturday, September 1, at 7.30pm.
Described as one of “the great voices of her generation", Sally Barker, a singer-songwriter, who appeared on the show in 2014, will play The Hut. A founding member of folk band the Poozies, Sally has also supported legends such as Fairport Convention and Roy Harper.
Organiser Jim McLaughlin said: “People often are disparaging about TV shows like The Voice but without it one of the great voices of her generation could have been lost.”
The support act will be Kate Covell-Bullock from Mickleby near Whitby. Tickets are £12. For details, go to musicportfestival.com
