HELMSLEY’S first-ever gin festival has been declared a great success.
The Ginilicious Festival, which took place in the town hall on Saturday, was organised by Helmsley Wines.
Festival-goers were offered the chance to sample from a selection of 50 gins, as well as meeting specialist craft distillers.
Jayne Potter, from Helmsley Wines, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Ginilicious Festival was a great success.
“We’d like to thank everyone who came along and supported our first-ever gin festival, in particular our wonderful suppliers from Eden Mill, Slingsby, and Whittaker’s who came along, and our great team of people who made the day run seamlessly.
“A combination of fantastic gins and brilliant people created the perfect festival atmosphere.”
