HELMSLEY’S first-ever gin festival will be offering "perfect pour" masterclasses to festival-goers keen to learn how to make a faultless G&T.

Organisers of the Ginilicious Festival have announced that Scottish producer Eden Mill Gin will be hosting the masterclasses. Each class will last about 15 minutes and include a gin and tonic. Places are limited and can be booked on the day on a first come, first served basis.

Ginilicious takes place on August 4 at Helmsley Town Hall. Gin-lovers can book into the afternoon session, running from 12.30pm to 4.30pm, or the evening session, from 6pm to 10pm.

There will be the opportunity to sample from a selection of 50 gins, meet specialist craft distillers as well as enjoy entertainment.

Tickets cost £15 per person, which includes a Copa de Balon glass, which can be taken home, and tokens for two gin and tonics, along with a Ginilicious guide to the gins available. Tickets are available at ginilicious.co.uk
