ONE person was taken to hospital after a lorry overturned onto its side on a main road in North Yorkshire this morning (May 14).
It happened on the A171 near Fylingdales between Whitby and Scarborough, and the road was completely blocked northbound.
Police were called to the incident at 7.10am, and fire and ambulance crews also attended.
The road fully reopened shortly before 11.40am.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service said one person was taken to Scarborough Hospital.
