MEMBERS of Ryedale Stroke Group are celebrating after being awarded a £1,000 community grant from Ryedale District Council (RDC).
The funding will enable the group to provide activities for people whose lives have been affected by stroke, through a series of trips using the Ryecat wheelchair accessible transport. Pat Thompson said: “This project is a vital contribution to the health and wellbeing of many and we are very grateful for the grant.”
Cllr Stephen Arnold said “The council delighted to be supporting the Ryedale Stroke Group who provide an excellent service to our community.”
