THE SOUNDS of Americana will be resounding around Pocklington Arts Centre (PAC) this summer with the arrival of three-piece band The Lone Bellow.

Brooklyn-based The Lone Bellow burst onto the scene with their self-titled debut album in 2013.

The band quickly became known for their transcendent harmonies, serious musicianship and raucous live performances, a reputation that earned them an extensive fan base.

Now, three years on from the release of their hugely successful second album entitled ‘Then Came The Morning’, the band will be performing live on stage at PAC on Tuesday, August 28.

Venue director Janet Farmer said: “I had the pleasure of watching The Lone Bellow perform at SXSW festival in Austin, Texas a few years ago and have wanted to bring them to PAC ever since, so this is really exciting.

“Having seen them for myself I know just how good they are as musicians and live performers so I know the PAC audience are in for a real treat.

She added: “The Lone Bellow are the latest in a series of live acts that we have secured to perform at PAC over the coming months, making for an incredibly busy summer of live music ahead.”
