Fire crews called to gas leak in Langton
FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a gas leak in Langton last Thursday.
Crews from Malton and Acomb received a call at 11.24am that a gas cylinder outside a barn was leaking.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said: “This was a propane cylinder leaking from round the coupling.
“Crews isolated the electricity supply and dispersed gas using a fine spray from a hosereel.”
