PUPILS from Leavening and Langton primary schools celebrated the last day of the spring term with a range of Easter-themed activities.
The children also came to school dressed as their favourite book characters for a belated World Book Day after their initial event was cancelled due to the weather.
Rachel Ray, head teacher at Langton Primary and acting head at Leavening Primary School, said: “Leavening and Langton primary schools celebrated the last day of the spring term with World Book Day costumes - take two - decorated eggs and took part in an egg rolling competition. Prizes were awarded for furthest egg rolled and best decorated egg in each class. What a wonderful way to end a very busy and happy term for both schools.”
