Cats and dogs rescued from house fire
FIREFIGHTERS have rescued two dogs and two cats from a house fire north of York.
Crews were called to the fire in Leasmires Avenue, Easingwold, at about 2.30pm yesterday (Thursday).
They rescued the pets and put out the fire in the kitchen using breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, and a thermal imaging camera.
