MALTON’S monthly food market returns for its first event of the year on Saturday.
Run by Malton Community Interest Company (CIC), organisers have brought back the market a month early with a wide range of Yorkshire specialities and more.
Market director Tom Naylor-Leyland said: “As always there will be a fantastic range of produce stalls. A day at our market would not be complete without a quick visit to Talbot Yard Food Court and Market Street, both are brimming with artisan producers. At the market there’ll also be some great live music in the shape of a new brass band called Charity Brass, who made their debut at the Christmas market and live cooking demonstrations.”
The market will be open from 9am to 3pm on Saturday.
