A NEW brass ensemble called Charity Brass has been set up.
The group is made up of seven seasoned brass players from the local area.
Cliff Hicks, a player, said: “Hiring bands for weddings, fetes and functions can be expensive, so we have tailored our fees to represent a small group scenario and to also allow for an element of fundraising, hence the name Charity Brass.
“The band already has an expanding repertoire of other music including film themes, show stoppers and popular easy listening.”
If you would like to hire the group, then you can nominate any charity of your choice.
