POLICE and firefighters were called to an incident in Darlington on Wednesday night.
Firemen could be seen using torches to search the property on the corner of Lynton Gardens, near the junction with Yarm Road.
The semi-detached property is currently for sale and it was unclear whether anyone was in the property at the time.
A police car blocked the entrance to Lynton Gardens while firefighters dealt with the incident which happened at around 8pm.
