ANYONE interested in training to be a tutor is being urged to sign up for a new course.
Darlington Borough Council is looking for people who are wanting to become a tutor and inspire the next generation of students.
A council spokeswoman said: “Our Level 3 Award in Education and Training is a great way to get into teaching if you would like to work as a tutor / trainer in the lifelong learning sector or if you are a tutor / trainer with no teaching qualifications.
Previous teaching experience is not essential, however you would be expected to possess both literacy and numeracy skills at Level 2. Our next course starts on Wednesday, January 10, but you will need to satisfy certain entry requirements beforehand.”
