CAROLS: Hartlepool residents invited to Civic Carol Service at the Parish Church of St Hilda Picture: GOOGLE
PEOPLE are invited to celebrate the festive season with the Mayor of Hartlepool, Councillor Paul Beck, at the Civic Carol Service.
The hour-long service will be led by the Reverend Verity Brown – the Civic Chaplain and Priest-in-charge of the parish church of St Hilda on the Headland, from 6.30pm on Monday.
And there will be accompaniment from Councillor Brenda Harrison and her choir Paraphernalia, as well as St Hilda’s own youth choir, Logos.
The retiring collection at the end of the service will be for St Hilda’s Church and the Mayor’s two chosen causes – Macmillan Cancer Support and the Rifty Youth Project.
