Trapped man rescued from flatbed wagon
FIRE crews have rescued a man who had become stuck after he partially fell through a missing plank on his flatbed wagon.
The 72-year-old man also partially fell off the wagon, trapping his other leg.
Emergency crews were called to the incident in Sand Hutton shortly before 6pm yesterday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire fire service said: "Fire crews released the injured male using manpower and gave him basic first aid before the ambulance service arrived."
