A PICKERING woman recently celebrated turning 100.
Ivy Hudson, who lives at the Alba Rose Care Home, marked her special day on October 31. A party for relatives, friends and residents was held at the home to celebrate her birthday.
Ivy moved to Pickering in 1978 with her husband Neil when he retired. The couple enjoyed an active and enjoyable retirement in the town and surrounding area.
After Neil’s death in 2013 Ivy moved to Alba Rose Care Home in Pickering.
Ivy’s three sons, grandson and two great grandchildren were all there to celebrate her birthday with her.
