HOVINGHAM Primary School has been declared "good" in a recent Ofsted report.
Inspectors said the school, which has 39 pupils, had undergone a number of improvements since its last inspection.
“The head teacher has an accurate view of the school’s effectiveness,” the report said. “Parents are overwhelmingly positive about the changes the headteacher has made and value the ‘family feel’ of the school. As one pupil put it, ‘School eels like a home from home’.”
James Pynn, head teacher at Hovingham Primary, said:"I am delighted that the hard work of everyone connected with our schools has been recognised.”
