POLICE have said that the man who died at sea this week after falling from a fishing boat was Darren Morley, 41, from Scarborough.
Mr Morley went overboard from a fishing vessel on Monday off the Scarborough coast. He was one of the crew.
After a rescue operation involving several lifeboats, a coastguard helicopter flew Mr Morley to James Cook Hospital, but he was pronounced dead.
Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding his death believe there are no suspicious circumstances.
Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
