MEMBERS of Norton Town Council have suggested naming a new development in tribute to a former mayor.
The developers of the site in Wood Street had contacted the council for possible names.
Councillor David Lloyd-Williams suggested Mennell Court after long-serving town councillor Keith Mennell.
Cllr Mennell, who was also Norton mayor five times, died in 2014, aged 84.
Town councillors agreed to put the suggestion forward.
